(1) A working journalist can accumulate up to one hundred and eighty days of home leave and any amount of sick leave.
(2) If a working journalist is separated from the service for any reason, he/she will be entitled to receive a lump-sum payment for home leave and sick leave accrued according to sub-rule (1) at the rate of severance from the position under his/her authority.
(3) If such a working journalist dies before receiving the amount as per sub-rule (2), the amount for home leave and sick leave accumulated in that way will be received by the person he wishes and if there is no such person, his next of kin will get it.
